"As a parent it was truly awesome to see so many fantastic athletes from all those clubs taking part in a great event. Although my daughter didn’t win any individual events she had great fun in taking part, made some great new friends from other clubs and is still wearing her competition medal three days after the event!

Through Nippers she has a much better understanding of surf and beach safety and has a sport she loves and can develop into as she gets older....you have inspired one child plus a parent who is thinking of doing masters".

Calum Jarvis, 14, of Polzeath SLSC is a keen Surf Life Saver and competes at all our Youth events. On hearing about our bid for the World Life Saving Championships he said:

"I want to take part in that – it’s something I can look forward to - to see all those teams in Cornwall".
